Founding creators

Help your followers understand what they put on their skin

Your audience already asks you what's in their skincare. Jouaxia gives them a free way to check. We're looking for a small group of K-beauty and skincare creators to try it, tell us what they think, and share it honestly.

What Jouaxia is

Jouaxia is a skincare ingredient site, from K-beauty to brands worldwide. Look up a product, or scan the front of the pack with your phone, to see what's in it and how it's rated for pregnancy, kids, and teens, with the reason behind every flag. Ratings come from each ingredient list and published rules, and they can't be bought. They're general guidance, not medical advice.

It's easy to recommend because your followers don't have to pay to use it: every product, brand, and ingredient page is free in full, with no account needed. A free account adds more scans and comparisons each month, plus saved lists.

Who it's for

  • K-beauty creators

You review, compare, or explain Korean skincare on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or a blog.

  • Ingredient explainers

Your followers come to you to make sense of labels, actives, and routines.

  • Skincare educators

You're an esthetician, or you teach skincare, and you're often asked whether a product is OK to use.

  • Parents and parents-to-be

You share skincare for pregnancy, kids, or teens, where people read labels more carefully.

You need to be 18 or older, and willing to try Jouaxia yourself before you talk about it.

The Founding Creator Offer

The program is new, so each item shows how far along it is. What you get is confirmed in writing when you're approved.

  • When you're approved

    Complimentary My Skin Plus

We turn on My Skin Plus for your account, free for 12 months. It normally costs $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year.

    Early looks at new features

We tell you what's coming and, where we can, let you try it before it's announced. Your feedback goes straight to the people building it.

  • By arrangement

    A chance to be featured

We choose a few founding creators to feature. See how that works below.

  • No ads
  • Full ingredient-by-ingredient comparisons
  • Unlimited product scans
  • Unlimited saved lists and favorites
  • Share lists by link or email, or publish them
  • Dark mode

How to apply

  1. 1.Apply

Send us your profile links, main platform, audience size, and why Jouaxia would suit your audience.

  2. 2.We reply by email

We read every application ourselves. We're starting with a small group, so we can't accept everyone.

  3. 3.Create a free account

If you're approved, sign up with the email you applied with, and we'll set up your membership.

  4. 4.Try it, then share what you think

Use Jouaxia on your own products first. If you post about it, say what you really found, and disclose the relationship.

There's nothing extra to apply for. We pick from creators in the program, and we always ask before using your name or content on Jouaxia. Here's what we look for:

  • You've really used Jouaxia, and it shows in what you make.
  • Your content helps people understand ingredients, without scaring them or overclaiming.
  • You disclose clearly, every time.
  • Your audience trusts you. We care about that more than follower counts.

A sample script to make your own

About 30 seconds. Change anything you like, except the disclosure, and only say what's true for you.

Quick heads-up: Jouaxia gave me a free membership and a discount code to share. These are my own opinions.

I've been using it to check what's actually in my skincare. You look up a product, or scan the front of the pack, and it shows you the ingredient list, what each ingredient does, and how the product is rated for pregnancy, kids, and teens, with the reason behind each flag.

I checked [product]. What I noticed was [your honest take, good or bad].

Product pages are free, and you don't need an account. It's general guidance, not medical advice, so talk to your doctor or dermatologist about your own skin.

If you want the paid plan, use my code [code] for 30% off the first 3 months of My Skin Plus.

Please don't call a product “safe” or “doctor-approved”, promise results, or say it treats a condition. A rating is our reading of an ingredient list, and it doesn't account for concentration.

Disclosure: the part we can't bend on

Your followers should know about anything that could affect how they weigh your opinion. Every time you mention Jouaxia, tell them about:

  • Free or discounted access, including a complimentary membership or a discount code
  • Any payment or other reward, if that ever applies
  • Any personal, family, or work tie to Jouaxia
  • Put it with the post

Make it hard to miss. Your bio, a "more" link, or the very end of a video is easy to overlook, and it shouldn't be lost in a pile of hashtags.

  • Use plain words

"Ad", "sponsored", or "free membership from Jouaxia" are clear. "Sp", "collab", or "thanks" aren't.

  • Say it and show it on video

Do both in the video itself, not only in the description. On a livestream, repeat it so people who join late still catch it.

  • Don't rely on platform tools alone

A paid-partnership label is fine to use, but add your own clear disclosure too.

Honest opinions, from real use. Only describe what you've actually tried, and don't say you love something if you don't. We'll never ask you to.

These rules apply wherever you live if your post could reach people in the US, and your own country may have more. Read the FTC's Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers for the full guidance. This is our summary, not legal advice.

Common questions

Do you pay creators?
Not for now. The program offers free access, a 30% discount code for your followers, early looks at new features, and a chance to be featured. If we add commission or paid work later, founding creators will hear first.
Is there a minimum number of followers?
No. We look at how much your audience trusts you and whether Jouaxia suits them. You need to be 18 or older to join.
Do I have to post good things about Jouaxia?
No. We want your honest opinion from real use. If something doesn't work for you, say so, and please tell us too.
Can joining change how a product is rated?
No. Ratings come from each product's ingredient list and our published rules. Nobody can pay for a rating or have a flag removed, and that includes creators and brands.
Is what's on this page a contract?
No. It describes the program in general. What you get, and for how long, is confirmed in writing when you're approved.
