This policy explains how Jouaxia uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, and how you can choose which ones we use.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. Both let a site remember information between visits.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks which cookies you allow. You can accept all, reject all optional cookies, or choose by category. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are used. Cookies and browser storage from any category you haven't allowed are removed automatically, including when you change your mind later. You can change your choice anytime with Your privacy choices at the bottom of every page, or the button below. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeting cookies and turn them off.

The categories
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to work, so they're always on. They're only used for what's listed above: remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in, and counting the free scans you use without an account.
Functional
Used only if you allow them, to remember choices you make, like how you view your saved lists. If you don't allow them, the site still works; it just won't remember those choices.
Performance
Used only if you allow them. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us in aggregate which pages are popular and how people find the site. It isn't used to identify you. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Targeting
Used only if you allow them. These would be set by advertising or social media partners to build a profile of your interests and show you ads on other sites. Jouaxia doesn't use targeting cookies today. If that changes, they'll stay off unless you allow them.
Paying with Stripe
When you buy a plan, you pay on Stripe's own secure checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), and manage billing on Stripe's pages (billing.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there to process payments and prevent fraud; see Stripe's cookie policy. Stripe doesn't set cookies on jouaxia.com.
Other sites
Retailer sites you visit from our links may set their own cookies. See our Privacy Policy for the services we use.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and stop the site from remembering your cookie choice. If you clear them, we'll ask for your choices again. To stop Google Analytics on every site, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
